New England XC Competition: Submit Flights

The longest running Hang-Gliding/Para-Gliding Cross Country competition in the United States. Originally started by Steve Arndt.

New England XC is challenging due to the densely wooded, and mountainous terrain, as well as the existence of the Atlantic Ocean; preventing how far we can fly East. This creates unique barriers to XC flight and makes each one a special occurrence.

Can you fly from Mt. Ascutney to Morningside Flight Park in your early XC days? Will you be the next VHGA Sandman, flying to the beach from any of our sites (90+ miles)? Perhaps you'll set a new site record for Hang-Glider, Para-Glider, Rigid Wing, or Tandem? Or will you be the next to be awarded the rare 'Green Jacket' setting a new distance record in New England?
